Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Lakes? Sure, Siamese Lakes is around here. Straight Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the snow is January; July meanwhile is the driest month. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Clark Fork, and there are wonderful sites to discover along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway.

| | for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Straight Lake is Kelly Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Clearwater Crossing Campground is a tremendous place to camp. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more fun things to do in the Bitterroot Range. Steep Creek is a nice spot to have a look at. Throughout the warm months highs here at Straight Lake reach the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. High temperatures all through the | |

winter are normally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Straight Lake.
And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do close to Straight Lake. Going for a hike on the Trout Creek Stock Driveway is always
a pleasant adventure; not far from Straight Lake you'll come across Steep Lakes which is a pretty lake. Straight Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. Don't leave Straight Lake without first going for a hike along the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail; Ruby Creek Campground is a great local campground.
