Stony Lake is a nice lake to visit. Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Stony Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Stony Lake tend to be in the 10's. At Stony Lake you can see Sapphire Mountains, and a gorgeous lake like Fuse Lake is a great place to go to. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here

On a good day at Stony Lake you can take a hike along the Butte Cabin Ridge Trail, and you can stay the night at Mud Lake Campground. Western Hamilton Inn is a brilliant choice. The Sapphire Mountains is a major characteristic of the region around Stony Lake, and Stony Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Crystal Creek Campground is a wonderful
site to camp nearby. Stony Lake is commonly a relatively arid place; all through June this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is October.
