Stewart Lake gets very little rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. A delightful swamp right next door to Stewart Lake is Steer Meadow. Lakes are delightful; Schwinegar Lake is a lake that's close to Stewart Lake. That right there is a load of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Pioneer Mountains has it all. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Old       Tim Creek Trail. This place, Stewart Lake, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. One of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Stewart Lake is Stewart Mountain; since you're here you can take a hike along the Grassy Lake Trail. The Pioneer Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Stewart Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Grasshopper Campground is a magnificent local campground, and a quick journey to Bear Creek                  is positively a great idea. During the summertime, highs mostly are in the 70's at Stewart Lake while nighttime lows are generally in the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Stewart Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Be careful coming to the Pioneer Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. There's so much to do here at Stewart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Steel Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Dillon is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful.
