Stephens Reservoir is generally a relatively dried up place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. A day on the slopes of Discovery Ski is just what you need. Getting to Showers Creek from Stephens Reservoir is       painless, and there are some great whitewater spots on Rock Creek. If you came to camp Copper Creek Campground is a brilliant spot to do that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Hi Line Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Stephens Reservoir. A wonderful lake like Whetstone Lake close to Stephens Reservoir is a fine site to explore, and camping at Stony Creek Campground is always a tremendous experience. Throughout the summer                  months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Stephens Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Stephens Reservoir descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
