Stephens Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Stony Creek Campground is a good local campground; hey, Gotta ski right? Discovery Ski is a perfect site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Stephens Reservoir called the Hi Line Trail; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rock Creek. Summertime       brings highs in the 80's to Stephens Reservoir. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Stephens Reservoir during the winter generally dip into the 10's.
