Fissure Glacier is an exciting place to stop at while at Lake of the Stars; you might also want to pay a visit to Freeman Pass if you're here at Lake of the Stars. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Value Port Polson Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest, and the Crow Creek Trail offers hiking       at its best. At Lake of the Stars you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June while February is commonly the driest month. Through the days of summer at Lake of the Stars highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Lake of the Stars tend to be in the 20's. Lake of the Stars is pleasant enough to                  spend more than a day at, Mission Falls Campground is a pleasant local campground, as expected you could also pop by Grizzly Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Nearby lakes? Sure, Picture Lake is near Lake of the Stars, and a day on the slopes of Montana Snowbowl is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Lake of the Stars is a spot with many visitors from Missoula. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Stars that you need to camp here for a while, Saint Marys Lake Campground is a wonderful place for that. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time.
