Star Dust Lake gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Super 8 Motel Big Timber is a nice site to get some rest; if you've had enough of Star Dust Lake, Anvil Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Clarks Fork Yellowstone; Courthouse Mountain       is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Star Dust Lake. So many amusing things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too glorious to be true. Star Dust Lake is right by the Thunderer Cutoff Trail, and Soda Butte Campground is a brilliant local campground. At Star Dust Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime                  for Star Dust Lake tend to be in the 0's. All year is a good time in the Absaroka Range if you go for the outdoors. You can run the rapids of Stillwater River next to Star Dust Lake, and there's brilliant hiking along the Republic Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Star Dust Lake. Lulu Pass is a great place to spend some time at; Colter Campground is a good campground nearby. The Pilot Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and you're probably into lakes, Panhandle Lake is one of those nearby.
