Stanton Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Dry warm beds await you at Bridge Street Cottages; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Boundary Trail. Stanton Lake is a good location of typical rain; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month of the year is April. Get dripping wet paddling on Bear Creek, and the Threetops Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by.

| | is available at Eld Island Campground; hey, Coal Creek is a good local stream. For the period of the summer months at Stanton Lake highs are mostly in the 70's; the night is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Stanton Lake. The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful.

a very tremendous place to go to in close proximity to Stanton Lake, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Grant Ridge Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Camping at Murray Bay Campground is always
a great experience, and paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun. And that's not everything you can do here in the Lewis Range.
