Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Stansfield Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Stansfield Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham - Helena, and there's no such thing as a bad day of       skiing at nearby Great Divide. At Stansfield Lake you don’t see much rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Airport is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend close by Fox Ridge Golf Course. Be careful coming to Stansfield Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Stansfield Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a                  day at, Helena Campground and RV Park is a pleasant local campground; if you're here, you could also visit striking Lake Helena. This lake is so wonderful. Helena Valley Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Backside Trail. This lake is so wonderful. It's a splendid idea to pop by Tenmile Creek, it's next to Stansfield Lake. Near Stansfield Lake you find the Prospect Shafts Trail which is a good hiking trail; at Stansfield Lake you always meet someone from Helena.
