Yeah, come here to Standard Lake for a magnificent time. Dry warm beds await you at Sandman Motel, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Teeters Peak Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Cabinet Mountains. From a precipitation point of view Standard Lake is a relatively typical spot; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is regularly       the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Very stunning scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Turner Mountain, and Standard Lake is right by the Libby Divide Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Cabinet Mountains. Camping at Standard Lake is great fun, Lake Creek Campground is a great local campground, and a lake nearby is Howard Lake. Visit Howard Creek since you're here at Standard Lake, and at Standard Lake you can see Midas Point.                  So many fun things to do in the Cabinet Mountains, not enough time. If you need a site to stay Venture Motor Inn & Restaurant is a wonderful choice, and why not camp at Howard Lake Campground while you're here at Standard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. During the long summer days at Standard Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Standard Lake during the winter frequently drop into the 10's.
