Squaw Lake is a location that is relatively dried out usually; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the months of summer at Squaw Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Squaw Lake nighttime low temperatures       through the wintertime are in the 0's. These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the Pioneer Mountains. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Squaw Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sportmans Campground; nearby you find the Copper Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Pioneer Mountains. There is a good hiking trail next to Squaw Lake called the Alder Creek Trail.                  The panorama of Shaw Mountain from Squaw Lake is beautiful, and Discovery Ski has nice slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful.
