     Spring Lakes is a nice lake to visit. Get wet paddling on Sunday Creek, and don't leave Spring Lakes without first going for a hike along the Ralph Thayer Memorial Trail. The summit of Stryker Peak can be made out from Spring Lakes, and there are glorious locations to explore along the Mount Marston National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is Kristianna Mountain Homes, and Bull Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out.
 
   Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Spring Lakes is so good! Upper Stillwater Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Fort Steele Trail is always a good adventure. Not much precipitation falls here at Spring Lakes; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. At Spring Lakes during the long summer days highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the  
               40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Spring Lakes tend to be in the 10's.
Stay the night at Martin Falls Campground, and if you get bored of Spring Lakes you could also take a look at close by Lagoni Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Kandahar Lodge is a nice site to spend a night or two. Spring Creek flows through this vicinity, and float down the rapids of Stillwater River in a kayak.
