Around Spring Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically June, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Spring Creek flows through this region, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Sunday Creek. All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's; overnight lows at Spring Lakes during the winter frequently descend into the 10's.
