     The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. Don’t forget to visit Brushy Park if you're here at Spring Lake, and a quick visit to Cliff Creek is definitely a nice idea. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Lewis Range. My Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and a great close by hotel is Bridge Street Cottages.
Near Spring Lake you find the Helen Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you can run the rapids of Flathead
 
   River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the White River Trail is always a good adventure; while you're here, you could also stop by striking Diamond Lake. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range.
Summertime highs at Spring Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Spring Lake. A common
 
               amount of rainfall falls here at Spring Lake; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest month of the year is July. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Spring Lake is peerless! Go for a hike on the Larch Hill Trail; Spring Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Beaver Creek Campground is a good location to camp nearby.

Spotted Bear River Trail
...Not much to see until you are near the top. Lots of water. larger creeks were still almost knee deep. No huckleberries. Plenty of biting flies and skeeters. Grade isn't too bad with a good climb after the pass to My lake. 3 days from Silvertip to My lake gave us time to hit the Chinese wall / Larch Pass on the 3rd day. 26 miles +-. My Lake is warm, has frogs and supposedly leeches. The mule deer think it is a petting zoo. Got quite windy and cool. We saw 18 mountain goats on the wall. 1 young Grizzle, 2 black bear cubs, 4 people, a few white tails, 10 mule deer on the journey.

We came back down to silvertip via Wall creek which is on the list to be cleared. Last fall horse tracks in mud like concrete, lots of blow downs on upper 2 miles of wall creek. When cleared this would be a decent trail. I would not recommend going to my lake up wall creek, Juliet creek, to larch hill pass, one steep up hill grind.
