There's so much to do here at Spoon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Glacier Mountain Shadows Resort is a magnificent location for that. Throughout the summer months at Spoon Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in       the 0's for Spoon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Mountain is right next door to Spoon Lake, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail. Having a splendid time at Spoon Lake is simple. Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a fine spot to get some rest, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Doris Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. People from Kalispell love to come to Spoon                  Lake, and the views at Glacier National Park will blow your mind. If you need a spot to stay Village Inn is a tremendous choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Bailey Lake. Flathead River - Middle Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby; going for a hike on the Howe Lake Trail is always a great adventure. Spoon Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest month is April.
