This lake is so wonderful. Spoon Lake is not the only spot nearby, Cedar Lake is a nearby lake, and there's brilliant hiking along the Columbia Mountain Trail. Spoon Lake gets very little rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest of the months is April. A lake close by is Bailey Lake, and camping at LaSalle RV Park and Campground is always a delightful experience. Spoon Lake truly       is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. The Doris Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Canyon Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. There are some great whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork. If you need a place to stay Bad Rock B&B is a brilliant choice; a nice site to camp here at Spoon Lake is Glacier Mountain Shadows Resort. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flathead River - Middle Fork, and lots                  of people from Kalispell come here. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are pleasant locations to pop by, and Glacier National Park is no exception, and Spoon Lake is right by the Howe Lake Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Big Mountain. Summertime at Spoon Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's.
