The beauty of Spogen Lake is reason enough to stop by. The Granite Loop Trail is a good hiking trail near Spogen Lake, and Park Rapids is an inspiring place to pop by during your stay. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Clarks Fork Yellowstone River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a day on the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain is just what you need. Lakes? Sure, Trail Lake is close by;

| | if you came for an overnight stay Beartooth Lake Campground is a good place to camp. At Spogen Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Spogen Lake sink into the 0's. fun, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Upper Granite Loop Trail. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Absaroka Range. Top Of The World Campground is a good
campground nearby; there's some flowing water nearby, Lake Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Wright Lake is a nice lake next to Spogen
Lake, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Clay Butte Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Spogen Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October.
