So much fun stuff near Spill Lake, clearly extraordinary. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Swan River; glorious hiking is available along the Jimmie Ridge Trail. Not much rainfall falls here at Spill Lake; the month with most of the rain is June; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Bad       Rock B&B; you are close to Blackies Bay since you're here. There's whitewater on Flathead River - Middle Fork for all you thrill seekers, and you can go for a hike on the Alpine Trail. Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you came for an overnight stay Bigfork Campground is a great spot to camp. A journey to Glacier National Park is worthwhile. After a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a nice spot to spend a night or                  two, and Rv Timbers Park is a tremendous campground nearby. Playing golf is lots of fun at Eagle Bend Golf Club; hiking is a popular thing to do around Spill Lake; Doris Creek Trail is a nice local trail. All through the warm months at Spill Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Spill Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
