Having a splendid time in the Cabinet Mountains is trouble-free. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Libby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Cabinet Mountains has to offer. Why not camp at Ross Creek Campground while you're here at Spar Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike       along the Ross Creek Pack Trail. Spar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet Mountains. Do check out Spruce Lake close to Spar Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Yaak River. At Spar Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Spar Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Camping                  is available at Spar Lake Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Spar Lake; South Fork Ross Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Club Creek if you're here at Spar Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Kootenai River offers some great whitewater. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Spar Lake.
