Summertime at Spar Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Spar Lake through the wintertime typically fall into the 10's. Some close by water includes Club Creek, and glide down the rapids of Yaak River in a kayak. This place, Spar Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Rodeway       Inn Libby is a pleasant location to get some rest. And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting things to do in the Cabinet Mountains. There's good hiking along the Ross Creek Pack Trail; camping at Ross Creek Campground is always a pleasant experience. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Spar Lake; Grouse Lake Trail is a perfect local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Kootenai River offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is                  so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the South Fork Ross Creek Trail; if you came to camp Spar Lake Campground is a great place to do that. The amount of precipitation that falls at Spar Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is July.
