Spar Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Spar Lake. Don't leave Spar Lake without first going for a hike along the Grouse Lake Trail, and Noxon Motel is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Yaak River offers some pleasant whitewater, and hey, Club Creek is a wonderful local stream. If you want a great time in the great outdoors

| | just come on up to the Cabinet Mountains. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Kootenai River. There's so much to do here at Spar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ross Creek Campground is a fine spot for that.
For the period of the summer at Spar Lake highs are typically in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Spar Lake. You'll need | |

more than a day to look at everything Spar Lake has to offer, you can camp at Spar Lake Campground, and going for a hike on the South Fork Ross Creek Trail is always a great adventure. Spar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet
Mountains.
These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting things to do in the Cabinet Mountains. An average amount of precipitation falls at Spar Lake; through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months
is July. Go for a hike on the Ross Creek Pack Trail, and if you need a place to stay Clark Fork Lodge is a splendid choice.
