After a long day outdoors River Rock Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and Blaze Mountain is clearly visible from Spanish Lakes. Lots of people from Bozeman come to Spanish Lakes, and what would winter be without some skiing at Big Sky. The Lightning Creek Trail is a glorious hiking trail in the neighborhood of Spanish Lakes, and a range like the Spanish Peaks is always picturesque. For       the period of the months of summer here at Spanish Lakes, high temperatures usually get into the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Spanish Lakes are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Beehive Lake is around here, and Castle Rock Inn is a great campground here. Any time is a good time at Spanish Lakes if you like the outdoors. If the weather                  is great here at Spanish Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Eldridge Trail; soar down the rapids of Gallatin River in a kayak. There is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Spanish Lakes called the Wapiti Creek Trail, and Spanish Lakes is a good place to camp, Elkhorn is a good place. Spanish Lakes is pretty dried up frequently; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
