This lake is so wonderful. This lake is one of
the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Sweeney Ridge Trail is always a tremendous adventure; if you came for an overnight stay Charles Waters Memorial Campground is a glorious
location to camp.
For the period of the summer at South Kootenai Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and the night is rather chillier of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at South Kootenai Lake are in the 10's.
