What a nice lake South Fork Lakes is. All through the days of summer here at South Fork Lakes, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at South Fork Lakes descend into the 10's. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Saint Mary Peak Trail, and Bass Lake is a nearby lake that you could go

| | to. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do in the Bitterroot Range. South Fork Lakes is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Fizzle Campground is a wonderful local campground; if you need a place to stay Lolo-Days Inn Missoula South/Blue Mountain is a fine choice.
South Fork Lakes gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. So much fun stuff to do here in | |

place to camp here at South Fork Lakes is Charles Waters Memorial Campground.
Get dripping wet paddling on White Sand Creek, and going for a hike along the Sweeney Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
This lake is so wonderful. The top of Bass Peak is easily seen from South Fork Lakes; while you're here you can take a hike along the Sally Ridge Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range.
