A great close by hotel is Arrowhead, and a lake close by is Upper Falls Creek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Madison River is so much fun; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Moonlight Basin while you're here. Very lovely scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Big Sky; the top of Spanish Peaks is easily observed from Lake Solitude. This lake is so wonderful. | | need a place to stay Beaverhead is a nice choice. Around Lake Solitude you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while February is regularly the driest month. There are plenty of people from Bozeman here at Lake Solitude; the landscape is dominated by the Spanish Peaks. near Lake Solitude. Lake Solitude is a good place to visit for more than one day, Castle Rock Inn is a good place to camp nearby, and hiking along the Lightning Creek Trail is pleasant fun. Stay the night at Red Mountain Campground.
Throughout the summertime months at Lake Solitude temperatures are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Solitude.
