At Soldiers Lake you don’t see much rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Having a great time in the Big Belt Mountains is painless. This lake is so wonderful. Doggett Reservoir is a pleasant lake near Soldiers Lake, and you can run the rapids of Tenderfoot Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Big Belt Mountains. Summer at Soldiers Lake comes with high temperatures       in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; night lows at Soldiers Lake all through the winter commonly drop into the 10's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Big Belt Mountains has to offer. There are plenty of folks from Great Falls here at Soldiers Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Deep Creek Figure                  8 Loop National Recreation Trail. Soldiers Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Skidway Campground is a pleasant local campground, and there are other places here than Soldiers Lake, for example Ayers Reservoir.
