What a nice lake Soldiers Lake is. At Soldiers Lake you don’t see much rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Having a great time in the Big Belt Mountains is painless. This lake is so wonderful. Doggett Reservoir is a pleasant lake near Soldiers Lake, and you can run the rapids of Tenderfoot Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Big Belt Mountains. Summer at Soldiers Lake comes with high temperatures

For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; night lows at Soldiers Lake all through the winter commonly drop into the 10's. 8 Loop National Recreation Trail. Hiking along the Divide Trail is splendid fun, and a brilliant place is Ayers Gulch. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Soldiers Lake has it all. Soldiers Lake is pleasant enough
to spend more than a day at, Skidway Campground is a pleasant local campground, and there are other places here than Soldiers Lake, for example Ayers Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Soldiers Lake that you need to camp here
for a while, Conestoga Campground is a great location for that; Camas Creek is close to Soldiers Lake and is always a pleasure to check out.

Tenderfoot Creek
 | 13 miles away I'm a land owner on the Tenderfoot and I wouldn't recomend trying to float it. It is a fun place to go tubing and have short floats but it isn't a good place for an extended trip. There are numerous log jams and gravel bars to navigate. On the other hand The Smith River is awesome.... |
