If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Creek, and don't leave Soldier Lake without first going for a hike along the Dirtyface-Logan Creek Trail. for a hike on the Baptiste Lookout Trail.

a hike on the Battery Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. The yearly rainfall here at Soldier Lake is about average; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while April is mostly the driest month.

you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Lewis Range. Bridge Street Cottages is a fine place to get some rest; a tour to Glacier National Park is worthwhile.
