Snyder Reservoir is generally a reasonably dry spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Snyder Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Woodard Reservoir is a nearby lake, and don't leave Snyder Reservoir without first paying a visit to Dutchman Spring. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Western 8 Motel. At Snyder Reservoir       during the summer months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Snyder Reservoir drop into the 0's.
