What a nice lake Snyder Lake is. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. If time allows, Glacier National Park is a national park worth a visit, and there are great places to discover along the Snyder Lake Trail. Snyder Lake is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range. An average amount of precipitation falls at Snyder Lake; through December this area sees the most snow while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | highs in the 70's to Snyder Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Snyder Lake. A great location to go to near Snyder Lake is Lincoln Pass. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Snyder Lake. Avalanche Basin is right here at Snyder Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Snyder Lake has to offer, | |

Dry warm beds await you at Glacier Park Super 8 Motel, and since you're here, you could also visit beautiful Upper Snyder Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Snyder
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sprague Creek Campground is a perfect site for that, and you can go for a hike on the Gunsight Pass Trail. All the outdoors exciting things in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back
many times. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and magnificent hiking is available along the Avalanche Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Avalanche Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop
by, and as expected Hidden Creek is a charming stream that is worth visiting. A visit to Snyder Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Akaiyan Falls; you can observe Mount Brown from Snyder Lake.
