Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Snowshoe Lakes drop into the 10's. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Snowshoe Lakes. Stay the night at Howard Lake Campground, and hey, Gotta ski right? Turner Mountain is a great spot to do that. Not       enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cabinet Mountains. Martin Lake is a tremendous lake right next door to Snowshoe Lakes, and there are other places here than Snowshoe Lakes, for example Leigh Lake. The Cabinet Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A wonderful close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Libby; going for a hike on the Engle Peak Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Mountain Ski & Summer Resort is a fine site to get some                  rest, and nearby you locate the Old Daly Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Snowshoe Lakes is a good site of common rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Get wet paddling on Kootenai River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Snowshoe Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Cabinet Mountain Conoco Campground. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Cabinet Mountains.
