If you are traveling by, why not stop by Snowbank Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Great Divide is a nice local ski area, and do take a hike on the Landers Fork Trail. Snowbank Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls all through May, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
A tremendous view of scenic Lone Mountain is available from Snowbank Lake; camping is available at Hooper Park Campground.

| | And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Lewis Range. Paddling on Dearborn River is so much fun, and Keep Cool Lakes is a nice lake close by. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Lewis Range. Everybody loves Indian Meadows, and Snowbank Lake is right by the Liverpool Snowbank Trail.

Fork Copper Creek. Summer at Snowbank Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Snowbank Lake dipping down
into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Falls Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and a fine site to camp here at Snowbank Lake is Copper Creek Campground.
