Float down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone in a kayak, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Crazy Lakes Trail. Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. The Lake Reno Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Snowball Lakes, and the panorama of delightful Beartooth Mountains is pleasant. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. A       beautiful lake like Storm Lakes right next door to Snowball Lakes is a delightful site to explore. Get wet paddling on Rosebud Creek - West; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail. The Beartooth Mountains is a major trait of the neighborhood around Snowball Lakes, and if you came for an overnight stay Emerald Lake Campground is a perfect place to camp. So many entertaining things to do here in the Absaroka Range, too                  great to be true. Princess Lake is a great lake right next door to Snowball Lakes, and a cool spot to take a look at is Granite Glacier. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Big Timber is a nice choice, and Chief Joseph Campground is a great local campground. Snowball Lakes gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Snowball Lakes with overnight lows in the 30's.
