Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. Camping at Snow Moon Lake is tremendous fun, Rising Sun Campground is a tremendous local campground, and don't leave Snow Moon Lake without first going for a hike along the Siyeh Pass Trail. Don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Allen Creek; the panorama of Allen Mountain is pretty. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back repeatedly.       Apikuni Falls is a wonderful location to pop by while you're at Snow Moon Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some nice whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Snow Moon Lake, you'll come across Cracker Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and there are good places to look at along the Cracker Lake Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Don’t forget to pop by Apikuni Flat while you're                  here at Snow Moon Lake, and Rising Sun Motor Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Many Glacier Campground since you're here at Snow Moon Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Piegan Pass Trail. Snow Moon Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and April is the month with the least moisture. During the warm months highs here at Snow Moon Lake get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Snow Moon Lake tend to be in the 10's.
