The beauty of Snow Lakes attracts many people from all around. A common amount of rain falls here at Snow Lakes; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is always a great adventure. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Absaroka Range. Summertime highs at Snow Lakes ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Snow Lakes temperatures descend to the 0's. A perfect location to camp here at Snow Lakes is East Rosebud Campground; there is a good hiking trail close by | |

called the Copeland Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are splendid; Elephant Lake is a lake that's right next door to Snow Lakes; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rosebud Creek - West.
Having a great time in the Absaroka
Range is painless. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Red Lodge Mountain, and you acquire a tremendous sight of Bowback Mountain from here. Snow Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. Visit Snow Creek
while you're here at Snow Lakes, and the Upper Granite Loop Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Snow Lakes. If you need a location to stay Old Crow Agency is a delightful choice, and camping is available at Jimmy Joe Campground.
