Go to Snow Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. Why not check out nearby Snow Creek if you're here at Snow Lakes, and you can run the rapids of Rosebud Creek - West. Through the summer at Snow Lakes temperatures are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Snow Lakes overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day

| | to enjoy the Absaroka Range. There's perfect hiking along the Upper Granite Loop Trail, and Bowback Mountain is simple to spot from Snow Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. This is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes. Lake Susanne is a lake close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Jimmy Joe Campground is a brilliant location to camp. Campground if you're here at Snow Lakes. An average amount of precipitation falls at Snow Lakes; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most; October is the month with the least moisture.
And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Snow Lakes. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail, and there's whitewater on Rosebud Creek - East for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. Snow Lakes is located in the Absaroka Range.
