Be careful coming to Smith Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. The Smith Creek Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Smith Lake; Haystack Butte is clearly visible from Smith Lake. Goss Creek is a fine spot to check out, and Nilan Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. On a brilliant day at Smith Lake you can take a hike along the West Falls Trail;       if you get bored of Smith Lake you could also have a look at close by Beale Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Bean Lake Campground is a nice place to camp, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Helena. Smith Lake is pretty dried out regularly; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Smith Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into                  the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Smith Lake throughout the winter mostly drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Wagons West Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and there's whitewater on Dearborn River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful.
