Really perfect skiing awaits you at Blacktail Mountain, and Smith Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Lake Mary Ronan Lodge Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Foy Lake is a great lake in the vicinity of Smith Lake, and Haywire Gulch is another tremendous site to stop by nearby. | | plunge down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Smith Lake tend to be in the 10's. Comfort Inn Big Sky is a splendid spot to get some rest; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Mountain. Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell. Smith Lake is pretty dried out ordinarily; through June this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. There are other sites here than Smith Lake, for example
Middle Foy Lake, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Tally Mountain Billy Creek Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things near Smith Lake. Kila Campground is a good campground nearby, and do take a hike on the Reid Divide Trail.
