If you are in Flathead county it's always a good idea to stop by Smith Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Thornberg Lake close to Smith Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Kristianna Mountain Homes. It is very dry here at Smith Lake ordinarily; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. But wait, there's more to do close to Smith Lake.

| | Les Mason Campground, and you can run the rapids of Stillwater River. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Smith Lake you'll meet some folks from Kalispell for sure, and Flathead River - Middle Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Blacktail Mountain.

Lake, and after a long day outdoors Big Mtn. Info. Center is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Taking a little trip to close by Brush Bay is a fine idea; for you golfers we recommend close by Whitefish Lake Golf Club. This
place, Smith Lake, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Big Mountain is a good local ski area, and do take a hike on the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail.
Hiking along the Micho Trail is glorious fun, and
there's some flowing water close by, Bear Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here. For the duration of the summertime months at Smith Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, frequently
in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and night lows at Smith Lake all through the wintertime usually dip into the 10's.
