     Dry warm beds await you at Kristianna Mountain Homes, and Moose Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. Don't forget to take a glorious little trip to Bear Creek, and there's great hiking along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Smith Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's; all through the dark  
   hours in the winter at Smith Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. A great place for whitewater paddling near Smith Lake is Flathead River - Middle Fork; lots of folks from Kalispell come here.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Thornberg Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Smith Lake, and the Micho Trail offers hiking at its best. Not far from Smith Lake, you'll locate Woods Lake which is a pretty lake, and you must visit Brush Bay when
 
               you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Stillwater River, and glorious hiking is available along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail.
You can never get enough of the good skiing at Big Mountain; if you need a spot to stay Kandahar Lodge is a brilliant choice. You just should fancy Smith Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Whitefish Lake Golf Club, and why not camp at Les Mason Campground while you're here at Smith Lake. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
It is very dry here at Smith Lake ordinarily; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
