Smith Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Don't leave Smith Lake without first going for a hike along the Whitefish Divide-Smokey Range National Recreation Trail, and Big Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and Thornberg Lake is a great lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. | | brilliant local trail. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moose Lake Campground is a tremendous site for that. This place is great, just check out all the cool things to do near Smith Lake. So many amusing things to do at Smith Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Kristianna Mountain Homes. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Smith Lake has to offer, you can camp at Les Mason Campground. | |

If you need a site to stay Kandahar Lodge is a tremendous choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River offers some splendid whitewater. While you're here at Smith Lake you must take a look at Brush Bay,
and at Smith Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell. At Smith Lake you don’t see much precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bear Creek, and Whitefish Lake Golf Club is a good golf course nearby. Throughout the summertime months here at Smith Lake, high temperatures usually get into the
80's; the night is a tad chillier of course, typically in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Smith Lake. Good hiking is available along the Danny on Memorial National Recreation Trail, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Woods Lake.
