The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. Near Slide Lake you find the Cutoff Trail which is a good hiking trail; if you came to camp Rising Sun Campground is a splendid spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Slide Lake called the Redgap Pass Trail. There's so much to do here at Slide Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Many Glacier Campground       is a pleasant place for that. Through the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 70's at Slide Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Slide Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Lewis Range. A glorious sight of stunning Chief Mountain is available from Slide Lake, and Gable Pass is nearby, and is a magnificent place. You could also pop by                  Elizabeth Lake since you're here at Slide Lake; it's close by, and Rising Sun Motor Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest. Slide Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; December is when you get the most snow here, and April is when it's the driest. Slide Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise.
