The amount of rainfall that falls at Slide Lake is close to the national average; most of the snow falls during December, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Slide Lake is close to Gable Pass which is unquestionably worth going to, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Redgap Pass Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Lewis Range. While you're here at Slide       Lake you can take a hike along the Cutoff Trail; a gorgeous lake like Elizabeth Lake is a splendid spot to stop at. Rising Sun Campground is a great local campground, and do take a hike on the Gable Pass Trail. So much amusing stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. A fine view of striking Chief Mountain is available from Slide Lake, and do stop at Poia Lake, it's a charming lake. Slide Lake is located in the Lewis Range. At Slide Lake throughout                  the summer months highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Slide Lake are in the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Slide Lake.
