If you get bored of Sky Lakes, you could also stop at close by Minor Lake, and do set aside some time for Hanging Valley since you're here at Sky Lakes. For the duration of the days of summer here at Sky Lakes, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows       in the 10's to Sky Lakes. So many cool things to do in the Cabinet Mountains, not enough time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sky Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Dorr Skeels Campground, and Sky Lakes is right by the Berray Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cabinet Mountain Conoco Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sky Lakes; Crowell Trail is a brilliant local trail. Rodeway Inn Libby is                  a splendid place to get some rest, and Yaak River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. The Cabinet Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Turner Mountain, and you can run the rapids of Kootenai River. The amount of rainfall that falls at Sky Lakes is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July. Just can't get enough of Sky Lakes. The peak of Sugarloaf Mountain can be seen from Sky Lakes; Klatawa Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful.
