Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bear Creek, and there's magnificent hiking along the Dry Fork Trail. Not much rain falls here at Sky Lake; the month with most of the rain is June while February is frequently the driest month. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more enjoyable things to do in the Lewis Range. Put some time aside to spend at Appistoki Falls since you're here at Sky Lake, and if you came       for an overnight stay Cut Bank Campground is a wonderful spot to camp. Take a side journey to Appistoki Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sky Lake; South Shore Trail is a perfect local trail. Sky Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Lewis Range. Glacier National Park is a magnificent national park. Lakes? Sure, Pray Lake is nearby. This                  lake is so wonderful. The Buttercup Park Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping is available at Two Medicine Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak; if you want to visit some attention-grabbing stuff, visit Running Eagle Falls Natural Bridge. Summertime highs at Sky Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's.
