The beauty of Silver Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. So many fun things to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Stay the night at Hicks Park Campground, and do take a look at Kaufman Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful.
All through the summertime months highs here at Silver Lake reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures

| | through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Silver Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Boulder Mountain is gorgeous and can be distinguished from Silver Lake, and paddling on Boulder River is so much fun. Hiking along the Sidehill Trail is tremendous fun; you'll discover a gorgeous lake called West Boulder Lake.

much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hells Canyon Campground is a wonderful place for that; Livingston Super 8 Motel is a delightful place to get some rest. Silver Lake is pretty arid frequently;
May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Silver Pass is next to Silver Lake and is a wonderful place, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Pyramid Trail.
This lake is
so wonderful. While you're here at Silver Lake you can take a hike along the Wallace Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Boulder River.
