Since you're here at Silver Lake why not take a look at Daly Gulch, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Combination Trail Number 3. You simply should love Silver Lake. While you're here at Silver Lake you can take a hike along the Boulder Lakes Trail, and after a long day       outdoors Rodeway Inn Deer Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two. Not much rainfall falls here at Silver Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Silver Hill from Silver Lake is pretty; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Silver Lake. On a fine day at Silver Lake you can take a hike along the Lower Willow Creek                  Trail Number Four. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stuart Campground is a magnificent place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Lake West Dam has perfect water scenery and it's near Silver Lake. For the period of the summertime months at Silver Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Silver Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
