  The 17 feet of great snow that fall every season at the nearby ski hill Discovery Ski is great. Discovery Ski has 6 ski lifts, a pleasant 1,670-foot vertical drop, and 48 ski slopes. There are 480 acres of ski terrain at Discovery Ski, 55% of the ski slopes are hard; those are the ones the skilled skiers like the most. 45% of the ski slopes at Discovery Ski are beginner and intermediate and well suited for kids and novices. Since you might be in a lake visiting
    mood you can always go to close by Georgetown Lake. A glorious view of delightful Silver Hill is available from Silver Lake, and after a long day outdoors Drummond Motel is a great place to spend a night or two.
