Near Sienna Lake you stumble on the Lodgepole Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Asteroid Lake is around here. All through the summer highs here at Sienna Lake reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Sienna       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Sienna Lake called the Republic Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Comet Lake. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the vicinity of Sienna Lake will keep you coming back again and again. If you come at the right time of year, Stillwater River offers some perfect whitewater. There's so much to do here at Sienna Lake that you need                  to camp here for a while, Soda Butte Campground is a tremendous location for that. Wounded Man Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sienna Lake has to offer, you can camp at Woodbine Campground. Sienna Lake is a location that is quite arid usually; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Going for a hike on the Thunderer Cutoff Trail is always a wonderful adventure; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Big Timber. Sienna Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in the Absaroka Range. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone, and the summit of Two Sisters can be distinguished from Sienna Lake.
