Why not stop by Shrimp Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Absaroka Range has to offer. A perfect place to camp here at Shrimp Lake is Lake Creek Campground. Shrimp Lake is a good place of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month.

| | High temperatures at Shrimp Lake throughout the summer are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Shrimp Lake. Go for a hike on the Crazy Mountain Trail; do check out Planaria Lake, it's a beautiful lake. you can always go whitewater paddling on Rosebud Creek - West; great hiking is available along the Copeland Lake Trail. You'll come across a charming lake called Snail Lake near Shrimp Lake, and don't leave Shrimp Lake without
first going for a hike along the Lake Reno Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain around here, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is a good whitewater spot close by. Whohoo, so many exciting things
in one place! The Absaroka Range is excellent! Crazy Mountain is clearly visible from Shrimp Lake; camping at Crazy Creek Campground is always a great experience.
