Shrew Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. All through the warm days of summer at Shrew Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Shrew Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. The yearly rain here at Shrew Lake is about average; through June this area sees the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest

| | month. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. There's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you thrill seekers, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Red Lodge Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Copeland Lake Trail; not far from Shrew Lake you'll locate Till Lake which is a lovely lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in close proximity to Shrew | |

Lake has to offer. Lakes are great; Big Butte Lake is a lake that's next to Shrew Lake, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
