    Go to Shooting Star Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. What a site this is for outdoors people. Going for a hike on the Fawn Pass Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and paddling on Mulherin Creek is so much fun. Summertime highs at Shooting Star Lake typically tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Shooting Star Lake. Sawtooth  
   Mountain is clearly visible from Shooting Star Lake; after a long day outdoors Yellowstone Park North Travelodge is a fine place to spend a night or two.

There's so much to do here at Shooting Star Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Carbella Campground is a magnificent place for that.
