Lost Lake is a lake in close proximity; camping is available at Benton RV Park. You're perhaps into lakes, Sand Lake is one of those close by; camping at Thain Creek Campground is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Grand Union Hotel, and there are plenty of folks from Havre here at Shonkin Lake. At Shonkin Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the       overnight is a little cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Shonkin Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
