Montana Snowbowl is great, and on a delightful day you acquire a great vista of Mosquito Peak from Sheridan Lake. Around Sheridan Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most
rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a day on the slopes of Marshall Mountain
is just what you need. A lake close by is Carter Lake, and camping is available at Cedar Campground.
If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Creek, and Big Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to.
