Marshall Mountain is a tremendous place to do that, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Missoula. Be careful coming to Sheridan Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a place to stay Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a glorious choice; paddling on Mill Creek is so much fun. Stay the night at Twin Campground; do go to Carter Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Very charming scenery and perfect skiing is what you get       at Montana Snowbowl, and a lovely lake like Big Lake is a nice place to stop at. Sheridan Lake is pretty dehydrated frequently; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily June, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Sheridan Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Sheridan                  Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and great hiking is available along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. On a pretty day you obtain a sight of Mosquito Peak from Sheridan Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sheridan Lake; BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT is a brilliant local trail.
