A day on the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain is just what you need; if you came to camp Island Lake Campground is a fine location to do that. So much amusing stuff in the Absaroka Range, just tremendous. Glide down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak; do stop by Glacier Lake North Dam while you're here. And that's not all you can do here in the Absaroka Range. Going for a hike along the Beauty Lake Trail will       let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and the top of Spirit Mountain is easily distinguished from Sheep Lake. If you need a spot to stay Yodeler Motel is a glorious choice, and lakes are such calm spots, why not stop at Goat Lake. Beartooth Plateau is right here at Sheep Lake, and hiking along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is wonderful fun. High temperatures at Sheep Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 70's. For the duration                  of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 30's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with temperatures at Sheep Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. This place, Sheep Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Sheep Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Beartooth Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground, and you'll discover a pretty lake called Frosty Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sheep Lake you can take a hike along the Clay Butte Trail, and since you're here at Sheep Lake, checking out Grasshopper Glacier is a must.
