There's so much to do here at Shay Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Creek Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast, and if you came to camp Point Pleasant Campground is a tremendous spot to do that. High temperatures at Shay Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, mostly       in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while Shay Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. If you need a place to stay Bridge Street Cottages is a fine choice, and there are pleasant spots to look at along the Wire Trail.
