Don't leave Shannon Lake without first going for a hike along the Trapper Peak Trail, and a charming lake like Kramis Pond is a wonderful site to go to. Shannon Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Como Campground is a good local campground, and getting to Clear Creek from Shannon Lake is painless. At Shannon Lake you don’t see much precipitation;       the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Shannon Lake. Near Shannon Lake you stumble on Shannon Gulch which is a splendid site to check out, and if you need a spot to stay Townhouse Inn of Hamilton is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's perfect hiking along the Old Nez Perce Indian Trail. All through the summertime here at Shannon Lake, high temperatures                  frequently reach the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 40's.
