If you came to camp Upper Lake Campground is a splendid location to do that, and there are brilliant places to discover along the Middle Fork Trail. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. Shambow Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, East Camos Campground is a pleasant local campground, and West Fork Cabins & Rv is a delightful site to get some rest.       Sheep Mountain can be seen from Shambow Pond; there's pleasant hiking along the Sheridan Creek Trail. All through the warm months at Shambow Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while Shambow Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Shambow Pond is a location that is rather dry mostly; the month with most of the rain is                  June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Madison River Cabins & Rv is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and don't leave Shambow Pond without first going for a hike along the Howard Creek Trail. This is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes.
