Shambow Pond gets very little precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest.       Summertime at Shambow Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Shambow Pond. A magnificent spot to camp here at Shambow Pond is Upper Lake Campground, and great hiking is available along the Middle Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Sheep Mountain can be made out from Shambow Pond, and the Sheridan Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
