Shadow Lake is located in the Lewis Range. There's tremendous hiking along the Pentagon Clack Creek Trail, and Pot Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. On a gorgeous day you acquire a view of Pivot Mountain from Shadow Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some nice whitewater. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the       Lewis Range. Dry warm beds await you at Dancing Bears Inn, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Shadow Lake; Chair Mountain Trail is a good local trail. Throughout the warm months highs here at Shadow Lake get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Shadow Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. From a rain point of view                  Shadow Lake is a relatively common location; most of the snow falls during January; July is the month with the least moisture. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Shadow Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
