This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. From Shadow Lake you obtain a good panorama of Pivot Mountain, and a stunning lake like Trilobite Lakes is a great site to visit. At Shadow Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the       winter at Shadow Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Bridge Street Cottages is a good site to get some rest; on a great day you can take a hike along the Pentagon Clack Creek Trail. Shadow Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Beaver Creek Campground is a great place to camp nearby; nearby you discover the Bungalow Lookout Trail which is a delightful                  hiking trail. The yearly rainfall here at Shadow Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most; July on the other hand is the driest. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Shadow Lake. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop at Pot Lake near Shadow Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
