Clarks Fork Yellowstone is a tremendous whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Sedge Lake, and not far from Sedge Lake you'll locate       Dollar Lake which is a pretty lake. Lakes? Sure, Aquarius Lake is nearby, and camping at Fox Creek Campground is always a perfect experience. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Sedge Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Sedge Lake throughout the winter usually dip into the 0's. Sedge Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. Life's too short                  to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Absaroka Range. Camping is available at Chief Joseph Campground; magnificent hiking is available along the Lake Reno Trail. All year is a magnificent time in the Absaroka Range if you love the outdoors. Don't leave Sedge Lake without first going for a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Big Timber. Go for a hike on the Crazy Lakes Trail, and getting to Farley Creek from Sedge Lake is painless. From a rainfall point of view Sedge Lake is a rather common spot; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest.
