This place, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors cool things. A wonderful close by hotel is Super 8 Motel Big Timber, and the Lake Reno Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. On a great day at Sedge Lake you can take a hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail; camping at Fox Creek Campground is always a delightful experience. While you're here at Sedge Lake you can take a hike along the Crazy       Lakes Trail, and Clarks Fork Yellowstone is a great whitewater spot nearby. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Absaroka Range. The top of Oxide Mountain is easily spotted from Sedge Lake, and camping is available at Chief Joseph Campground. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. This place, Sedge Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A lake nearby is Little Molar Lake; some of the water close by flows, like Farley                  Creek. At Sedge Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. All through the winter highs are regularly in the 20's while Sedge Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. From a rainfall point of view Sedge Lake is a relatively common spot; all through June this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
